Life Skills
Life skills that are often taken for granted may be missing or out of date for those who have been incarcerated. Our life skills programs are designed to help residents acquire the knowledge needed to change their lives. Upon arrival, residents are evaluated and assessed to determine the areas in which they need to concentrate. Every 30 days they are reevaluated to determine progress and discover new needs that may have emerged.
Listed below is a sample of what we offer. Instruction may take place in a classroom setting, small group or on individual basis depending on the program and the needs of the resident.
