Facility Spotlight | For the moment…

— Cornhole, Obstacle Courses and Knockout, Oh My! —

Spring has officially sprung and everyone is excited to get back outside!

Conewago BBQ

An excited client with Bonnie, Program Monitor and Kyle, Facility Director at Conewago Place.

The grounds at Conewago Snyder and Conewago Place were alive with activity as clients participated in field days where they played cornhole, collaborated on team challenges and obstacle courses, made and flew kites and enjoyed each other’s company. The communities worked together and cheered on their teammates during the obstacle courses, then took to some one on one cornhole and basketball challenges.

Don’t let these faces fool you, moments before this they were razzing each other during a game of cornhole.

And what’s a fun day of yard games without a BBQ? After the fun, everyone relaxed and enjoyed a BBQ picnic cooked by the facilities’ own kitchen staff.

Many clients commented on what an impact these days have on their overall mood. “It’s just nice to get out and do something different with each other, for a moment we’re all just people – no labels” said Mark, a client at Conewago Snyder.
